Fire Detection and Alarm System Logbook | A4 | Personalisation Available

This logbook is a vital tool to support compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and BS 5839-1:2025. By providing a clear, structured record of weekly fire alarm tests, scheduled maintenance, false alarm incidents, and system modifications, it helps the Responsible Person demonstrate that appropriate fire safety measures are in place and maintained. For fire alarm engineers, it offers a reliable reference for servicing, diagnosing faults, and ensuring that the system continues to meet the necessary standards. Regular use of this logbook not only aids legal compliance but also supports a safer environment for all building occupants. This requires a comprehensive system of checking, maintaining and repairing all fire safety equipment on an on-going and regular basis, together with the appropriate level of training in fire safety for any employees. All tests and maintenance must be recorded as it is a legal requirement, by virtue of the RRFSO, that the fire safety activities of the responsible person(s) can be audited by the relevant authorities at any time. This fire Detection and Alarm System logbook has been prepared to assist the ‘responsible person’ in coordinating and maintaining a fire safety record-keeping system.
